LearningPoint

LearningPoint as a new initiative needed an identity and a website to accompany it to represent their business idea to the world.

LearningPoint is new, and addresses the issue of technology and learning in schools and colleges. LearningPoint has a unique approach to education ICT designed around the needs of each school and with a clear focus on learning.  It can be used as a complete or partial solution to all the requirements of the school and academy or college.

What the client wanted

The people at LearningPoint wanted their new website to look modern and intersting, and to deliver their message succintly. It also ahd to appeal as much to school children visiting the site as much as it would to Teachers and Team Leaders or IT Managers. LearningPoint also wanted the site to have bespoke photography to really give it the credibility it deserved.

Identity

The LearningPoint identity accentuates the word 'Learning' in italics, as their product is centred around facilitating learning. It only uses two colours for simplicity and the green feels fresh and contemporary against white.

Website

The LearningPoint website is a content managed site via the ModX Content Management Framework. This allows the LearningPoint team to update their site as often as they like, and the design has been created to allow for the continous addition of content and copy without breaking the layout. It uses photography specially shot for the website re-enforcing the LearningPoint as a credible proposition. We loved working on this site and were able to integrate some really nice touches into the design like the resources column inside the copy section on the sub-pages, this makes for additional interst in the pages and gives users things to do, read and download.
